Since it's a free-to-play game, Legends of Middle-earth has microtransactions. Legends of Middle-earth's 3D visuals are better than I expected, and you'll even get to visit places like Rohan, Gondor, and Mordor through upcoming expansion packs. After that, you set out on a quest where you'll team up with characters from across the Lord of the Rings universe such as Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas, and Frodo to help you "annihilate forces of evil." Every character (there are more than 100 in all) has its own unique abilities, meaning players will need to make calculated decisions before they head into battle.
